If a commitment is missed and the failure becomes final, 85% of the forfeited deposit becomes FitBond's donation obligation to the selected charity. FitBond deducts a 15% platform fee. Friend Donate pledges remain separate and route gross.

The portal distinguishes friend pledges from losing-deposit settlement so the organisation can reconcile each route.

85% of each final forfeited deposit becomes FitBond’s donation obligation to the selected charity. FitBond deducts a 15% platform fee. Friend Donate pledges route gross.

Gift Aid boundary
Charity Bond forfeits are not eligible for Gift Aid. Friend Donate pledges do not use Gift Aid during the pilot.
