fitbond

For charities, CICs, and social enterprises

A commitment can fund a cause when it is missed.

If a commitment is missed and the failure becomes final, 85% of the forfeited deposit becomes FitBond's donation obligation to the selected charity. FitBond deducts a 15% platform fee. Friend Donate pledges remain separate and route gross.

Friend pledges and losing-deposit settlement.

From directory application to a reconciled payout.

The organisation can see what has accrued and how each payment route is progressing, without waiting for a manually assembled statement.

01

Apply and verify

Tell us about the organisation and its beneficiaries. We verify the registration before publishing the directory profile.

02

Get chosen

Members can select the cause for a Charity Bond; friends can also make a pledge to an eligible public Bond.

03

Track and reconcile

The portal keeps Charity Bond forfeits separate from Friend Donate pledges, with amounts, payment references, and status for each route.

Our commitments

Five things you should not have to ask for.

  1. 01

    Separate sources

The portal distinguishes friend pledges from losing-deposit settlement so the organisation can reconcile each route.

  2. 02

    Fees shown honestly

85% of each final forfeited deposit becomes FitBond’s donation obligation to the selected charity. FitBond deducts a 15% platform fee. Friend Donate pledges route gross.

  3. 03

    Gift Aid boundary

Charity Bond forfeits are not eligible for Gift Aid. Friend Donate pledges do not use Gift Aid during the pilot.

  4. 04

    Privacy by default

The portal shows only the information needed to reconcile each approved charity payment.

  5. 05

    A clear exit

A charity can stop accepting new activity while already accrued amounts continue through the payout process.

Registered UK charities, CICs, and social enterprises can apply. Payout details are collected securely after verification—not by email.
